Why is Tuk In Foods doing a crowdfunding campaign?
We are a young company with a well developed product, we have manufacturing and a selection of distribution agreements in place. To drive further growth, we are offering the community and the public the opportunity to invest in our company alongside our current shareholders. These additional resources will help us launch the products with new clients and continue to build our brand presence.

What is the minimum investment amount?
Because we want to involve as many people as possible, we keep the minimum investment amount low at around £10. We are happy to receive any amount!
What has Tuk In Foods accomplished so far?
We have secured supply agreements with several national retail and foodservice clients. Our main retail listing is with Ocado and we have presence in selected stores including Londis, Spar and Simply Fresh. We have distribution agreements with foodservice groups Southover Foods and Feast Point. We are also supplying a range of catering sites including Bartlett Mitchell with trials planned at ISS, Graysons restaurants and Compass Group.
Our products are made by a leading specialist food manufacturer. With their BRC Grade AA and HACCP credentials they also comply with most of the requirements of major retailers.
We have also won two industry awards; At the International Food Exhibition held at the Excel Centre, London in March, 2017 we won the ‘Best Convenience Food Innovation Award’. In March 2017 we also won the ‘Grocery Accelerator Award’ which includes a 12 month advisory board support from the Grocery Accelerator
How can I make money with my investment?
To make a profit on your investment, you will generally need to sell your shares for more than the amount you invested. In a best case scenario, the value of your shares will rise in line with the growth of business you invested in, and you will be able to see your shares when the business floats on a stock exchange or is bought by another company (i.e. an exit event). What is the money raised used for?
The investment will support two major strands of activity; Promotion of the consumer brand ‘Tuk In’, and sales activity across our target foodservice market.
The development of the consumer brand will be focused on driving sales growth through; Expansion of our client base, in-store marketing and promotions including sampling, developing a network of brand ambassadors, digital and other above-the-line advertising.
