Tuk In Arcade (play.tukinfoods.com) is a free browser game operated by Tuk In Foods Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company no. 09762361, of 16 Highcliffe Road, Leicester, LE5 1TY ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the game collects and how we use it.
Playing the game
You can play Tuk In Arcade without creating an account and without giving us any personal information. Just playing the game sends us only basic technical information needed to run it.
If you submit a score to the leaderboard
When you choose to submit a score, we collect:
The nickname you enter. This is shown publicly on the leaderboard. Please don't use your full name or anything you wouldn't want displayed.
Your game results (score, chefs beaten, chilli hits, and how long you played), used to display the leaderboard and to detect cheating.
A one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your internet address, used only to prevent abuse of the leaderboard (for example, blocking automated spam submissions). We cannot turn this back into your actual address.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a fair, working leaderboard.
If you choose to give us your email address
Giving an email address is entirely optional and never required to play or to appear on the leaderboard. If you enter your email and tick the consent box, we will store your email address and use it to send you occasional updates about Tuk In games and products. Your email address is never displayed on the leaderboard or shared publicly.
Legal basis: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time — every email we send will include an unsubscribe link, or you can contact us at hello@tukinfoods.com and we will delete your address.
Where your information is stored
Game data is stored securely with our database provider Supabase on servers in Europe, and the game is delivered by Cloudflare. Both act as our data processors.
How long we keep it
Leaderboard entries: for the duration of the campaign and up to 24 months afterwards, unless you ask us to remove yours sooner.
Email addresses: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you, object to or restrict our use of it, and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@tukinfoods.com. If you want a leaderboard entry removed, tell us the nickname and approximate score/date and we will delete it.
Children
The game is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect email addresses from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us their email, contact us and we will delete it.
Cookies and tracking
The game itself does not set advertising cookies or use third-party tracking.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update this page and the date above.
